Then we ported that to the docker system with the chagne you linked I think. So this cahnge proposed way back when doubling it to 8192 * 2 and I updated it to do that under docker\n\non our current gerrit we\u0027re sitting around 500 open files, but obviously that could be highly variable.  but still, load would have to increase \u003e 10 times to start hitting 5000 files.\n\nso i\u0027m tempted to say we should leave this lower, as if we\u0027re hitting this it\u0027s probably helpful for us to understand why so many files are open.","commit_id":"ea4e7435c57b33360e5b9812477fa75e63f1c637"}]}
