I\u0027m not sure if we might hit issues there too with things being owned by root and trying to chown on the AFS volume, etc etc.  Not something I think we want to spend time on.\n\nAlso, when in a pressure situation of the mirrors being down and trying to resync things (certainly has happened) we also introduce more steps having to deal with writing to the log volume.\n\nGiven the intent of this is that people who submit changes to our logging scripts can see the results, or check on why their mirror of interest may not be updating correctly, a simple periodic sync to the R/W volume seems the KISS approach here.","commit_id":"ebe14f2ca41befcdf4f6e7c682823fc6c1c9618a"}]}
