This change won\u0027t break cinder or the NetApp drivers, but it will have the effect that if clone-across-pools is reported True by a driver, but it doesn\u0027t actually have that capability, the source volume to use isn\u0027t filtered by host or cluster, so in the image-volume use case, the volume selected as source may not be on the same host/cluster, and won\u0027t be cloneable.  The code will fall back to the download-image-from-glance workflow, so everything should still work, it just won\u0027t be as efficient.  My key point is that if a driver declares clone-across-pools but can\u0027t actually do it, it will also lose the clone-in-same-host/cluster capability.
