This causes the nove compute\nservice to try to auto start the api-metadata service.  But we\nalso have the api-metadata recipe in the run list by default which\nalso tries to start the api-metadata service. This can cause timing\nissues with the starting service.\n\nThis patch will remove the metadata value from the enabled_apis\nattribute, and put out a warning if it\u0027s included.  The api-metadata\nreceipe should be used to control this service.  By default the\napi-metadata recipe is included in the os-compute-api role which\nis included in the os-compute-single-controller role.
