Putting it in the setup.cfg (which is in this PR) is doing that advertisement which you might be in opposition to.\n\nWhat would you require done additionally in CI to \"officially support\" Python 3.10? Part of why I wanted to get this here is my observation that Python 3.10 support is already advertised by some downstreams (https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/blob/master/app-emulation/diskimage-builder/diskimage-builder-3.21.1.ebuild#L6 for example), and if our unit tests are passing I\u0027d rather do the work on the DIB side to make python 3.10 support official.\n\nIt\u0027s important to note that DIB does not follow OpenStack standard release processes.
