If we wanted to change the root disk without this change in dib, we\u0027d have to specify the entire block-device config in nodepool and override the default -- we can\u0027t just merge in a root-disk override that way.\n\nThe --root-disk command flag is the only way to do this override currently; and this provides a way to do that same thing via environment flag.\n\nDoes that make sense?
