But no one is interesing to store images in ScaleIO only. The goal to make ScaleIO driver for Glance is to accelerate some cases in Cinder and Nova, which are backed on ScaleIO (see depended blueprints).\n\nIn this case we are interesing to have regular Tempest tests in CI, and regular CIs started by regular DevStack (all is run against ScaleIO). It would be too expensive to build 3 separate CIs (for Glance, Cinder, and Nova) to test the driver as 3rd party work.
