Though I have no current expectation that I\u0027ll be involved in any future adoptions of top-level projects, we can certainly analyze our own actions and provide feedback to the Foundation folks for future use.\n\nIn any process such as this, we can always do something more public earlier.  There is a continuum between raw brainstorming on a mailing list versus fait accompli.  We all want to be as close toward the former as possible.  We may never be satisfied that we\u0027ve achieved it.\n\nWe seriously started talking to the Foundation about becoming a top-level project around the Dublin PTG.  That makes this one of the first concrete steps, and indeed, that\u0027s a deliberate choice because we know how important transparency and engagement is.  We probably could have said something more public sooner.
