Key Pairs work well for me, no matter what name I use (\"__a\", \"a__\", \"a__b\", etc...) still works completely fine.\n\nI can see the bug report is 11 years old and Akihiro is mentioning there that the issue was in Django-based implementation from 2015. Since 2017 there is an Angular panel.\n\nIs this problem really current? Did you try to reproduce it? @openstack@dopieralski.pl, @lazekteam@gmail.com\n\nAdditionally @omcgonag@redhat.com is currently rewriting the whole Key Pair in the \"de-angularize\" topic, so I am not very sure if this fix make sense if the bug no longer exist in current version and we will have completely new version of Key Pair soon.","commit_id":"a24c1f141dd4f02d5987bb4d214e633bd4556077"},{"author":{"_account_id":38842,"name":"Silvia Wachira","display_name":"Silvia Wachira","email":"wachirasilvia8@gmail.com","username":"Silvia-Wachira"},"change_message_id":"55ac15c04b571b2c882e60f813830d31ead11f1d","unresolved":false,"context_lines":[],"source_content_type":"","patch_set":1,"id":"436926ab_12ea8709","updated":"2026-03-09 15:14:52.000000000","message":"Thank you for the thorough review, Jan.\n\nI retried reproducing the issue on the current Horizon codebase and was not able to reproduce it. Keypairs with names like \"__a\", \"a__\", and \"a__b\" can be created and deleted successfully from the dashboard.\n\nI will abandon this patch since the issue no longer appears to be present.\n\nThanks again for taking the time to review.","commit_id":"a24c1f141dd4f02d5987bb4d214e633bd4556077"}]}
