Particularly because we offer no way for a user to query if an extension is provided or not. My feeling is therefore that everyone runs with everything turned on. \n\nI had the enabled because i was thinking that from the middleware shim i could say enabled \u003d true, so if the middleware is in place then it should turn on the enabled flag for compatibility.
