Also, whenever you stop the container (e.g. docker stop), it is automatically restarted by systemd, which was quite the surprise when we upgraded from xena to 2023.1 (somewhere in between this change was introduced)\n\nNow we obviously know there is a systemd unit file, so we know how to stop it, but as i wrote, it somehow feels redundant to implement the restart policy in systemd instead of using the restartpolicy of docker itself.\n\nAnd as you could have seen in the bugreport we see systemd going to 100%, so we made the assumption that maybe this change was somehow the cause of that (but it isn\u0027t since systemd still goes to 100% when docker is responsible for the restartpolicy)\n\nSo long story short, it has to do with preference i guess, It might make more sense for sysadmins to use docker commands, instead of using systemd to start/stop containers.\nAnd since i already made the change locally, i thought, why not upload the feature and see if there are likeminded people out there 😄 (it is a config knob so the default behaviour will still be to use systemd)","commit_id":"f9fbf12925817c624e3b4860fba0c87b0121fadc"}]}
