Anything which used distutils before should just continue to work as long as SetupTools is installed into the environment, right? While the code changes make sense, it doesn\u0027t seem like they\u0027re strictly necessary as the old versions should just keep working. SetupTools needs to be installed regardless of whether you\u0027re using its copy of distutils or pkg_resources.","commit_id":"3651d515601bf9118440f5b41fe71258b8304519"}]}
