Of course we could check pep8 compliance manually, but I would rather not do that.\n\nso my point of view is: the manual review is for stuff the CI can\u0027t spot, logical mistakes, maybe some spelling stuff, architectural review et cetera.\n\nso neither the manual review should depend on the CI being run nor the other way around, they should complement each other.\n\nthe more stuff we can move to CI, the better - if it works reliable - as it lessens the maintainers burden to check things.\n\nSo in my view I can review a change on it logical merits alone, without waiting for zuul. I can also +1 a change that has verified -1, e.g. for an unrelated build failure imho, because I don\u0027t say \"I checked that all the integration tests run with this\" that would be zuuls job, not mine, really, when doing +1.\n\nOf course it is nice when a reviewer also tests code, maybe even tests stuff the CI can\u0027t currently test.
