Maybe it is just my reproducer is not the easiest.\n\nI think this was intended to prevent this from happening, basically  https://github.com/openshift/kuryr-kubernetes/commit/153a16e80f3de9a364b24a4ebf0ae95f49078d23\n\nand if everything works, it prevents the problem from happening.\n\nIf you delete port before entering into _get_vip_port, then let the Kuryr Controller continue eventually it throws a 500 exception, which skips the raise and moves to find_loadbalancer function and updates KLB properly and it doesn\u0027t create a duplicated LB.\n\nSince KLB Handler is already failing causing restarts on Kuryr on liveness probe. \n\nExecute the same steps as above and wait for Kuryr to be restarted before find_loadbalancer.\n\nThat\u0027s when it creates LB but doesn\u0027t update KLB resource, then next iteration of same LB creates a duplicated LB.\n\nIt is quite complicated but I am 100% sure this is fixing that problem.
