On our backend (VMAX, PowerMax) we only support thin provisioning which is why I assumed that this should be supported by default.  However, if it is assumed that \u0027thin provisioning\u0027 in the Manila driver must be explicitly set as an extra spec by our manila driver, then I will open up a separate launchpad for this.  Or perhaps \u0027thin provisionining\u0027 on the manila driver is something else and not necessarily tied to the backend?
