neutron-lib, and that is the neutron-lib version our end users use.\n\n2) We could (and now we do) test with the last release of neutron-lib:\n\npro: We can guarantee that neutron works with the last release of neutron-lib.\ncon: It adds inconvenience to work with two-repo changes.\n\nHow we usually handle this inconvenience:\n\nIf you\u0027re not in a rush you wait until your neutron-lib patch is merged and released. Feel free to propose a neutron-lib release in openstack/releases to speed this up (please give a heads-up on irc if you do this).\n\nIf you want to move faster, we usually accept temporarily duplicated code. For example you propose module \u0027foo\u0027 in neutron-lib, but it\u0027s not merged or not released yet. Feel free to add an exact copy of it to your neutron change under the name \u0027_foo\u0027 with an extra TODO comment to remove it when the same gets available in neutron-lib.\n\nWhen the neutron-lib part gets released please follow up with a neutron patch that removes _foo and replaces \u0027import _foo\u0027 with \u0027import foo\u0027.\n\nWe could also move to enable some tests both with master neutron-lib and the last release of neutron-lib.
