Redis was chosen by default only because it is easier to install, probably other drivers may work faster. Also in all drivers trace events are written synchronously, which results in 25-30% of slowness. \n\nReport generation is not fast too, especially for traces with thousands of events. One approach can be to generate simple text output instead of HTML - this will save space too. For example one of Tempest test cases produce ~200M report and overall size of all reports goes beyond 1G which is way too
