We start nb/sb db and northd. In addition, we don\u0027t have nova. So even if we had the other stuff, we\u0027d need to rely on being able to mock the novaclient stuff out and just check that it at least calls the nova code with the right values. We\u0027d need to add starting a test Open_vSwitch ovsdb-server and ovn-controller or use ovsdbapp\u0027s venv.py which starts all of the local services. I think test_impl_idl.py uses it, so we *could* try to use something like that, but where you\u0027d normally want to do the tests would be with test_mech_driver, which doesn\u0027t use it.\n\nUnit tests: The only testing at all for this segment host mapping / aggregate stuff is in unit tests, and those are ml2/ovs-specific. And it\u0027s not a super robust way to test this behavior.
