placement requrest as an input and transform it retruning a new placemetn request as an output so that we can make this code modular by chaning the transformers.\n\ni think that could help with this complexity.\nperhaps using prefilters is the wrong place in some cases as it might be virt driver specific but in any case i think we will need a modular approach to building placement request to deal and emulator_threads, I did think about them, but forget to write it down. \n\nFor the cpu_threads_policy, there needn\u0027t something special, it will work as expected. When using the shared cpu policy, it is just the way we count the available cpus. When using the dedicated policy, we just not allow to pin to the slibing cpu. Those should co-existed with existed NUMA affinity filter logic. I will add design about them.\n\nFor the emulator threads policy, I plan to follow the current logic, doesn\u0027t change anything. For shared policy, it should be ok, it\u0027s just floating on the CONF.compute.cpu_shared_set. For the isolated policy, I want to just pick one with the current logic. So it\u0027s maybe the high priority or low priority cpu, it depends on the vcpu priority in the instance numa node. For the next step, I want to enable to specify the cpu priority for emulator threads. Just doesn\u0027t want to increase the complexity for this spec. But I can do it in this spec if we feel this logic is strange.\n\nFor the realtime. yes, I forget it. But after check the code, I think we needn\u0027t any special thing for it. We just make it using realtime schedule policy for specific vcpus, and the user can free to set those vcpus priority.\n\n\nFor hw:numa_cpu.0\u003d3 hw:numa_cpu.1\u003d1, I don\u0027t there is different. let us, the hw:cpu.HW_CPU_HIGH_PRIORITY\u003d2,3.
