Part of structure of libvirt.xml for hotplugging is like \"\u003cvcpus current\u003d\u0027X\u0027\u003e\u0027Y\u0027\u003c/vcpus\u003e\". So if you want to hot-plugged additional vcpus to the instance, you need to indicate current vcpus number(\u0027X\u0027, should equals to flavor.vcpus) \u0026 the max vcpus limit(\u0027Y\u0027) in the config before you execute \u0027vcpus hot-plug\u0027. In other words, you need to specify these two values during instance creation.\n\nBut now, the original usage in libvirt driver only has \u0027Y\u0027(equals to flavor.vcpus) in the structure above, no \u0027X\u0027 value.
