The problem is, instances are auto-registered when they\u0027re defined so this fake object will be in the registry from the point that this test is run until we\u0027re done. If it\u0027s run before some of the other instance tests above, it will start being returned from the registry when something asks for a new \"instance\" object, and with the older version.
