I opted for \u0027UnitTestCase\u0027 with the following ideas in mind, lemme know if they\u0027re convincing :-)\n\n* \u0027Unit-test\u0027 is a bit of a murky term, different people have different definitions of what it is, but one fairly common requirement is that they shouldn\u0027t hit the database. So the class name was used to introduce this requirement, to shift the terminology in OpenStack from calling what we have unit-tests to just \u0027tests\u0027 and the new no DB style as \u0027unit-tests\u0027.\n\nIt\u0027s a subtle thing, but I think getting a standard vocabulary here is a good thing, and using no-db as a requirement for the label \u0027unit\u0027 makes sense IMHO.\n\n* Ultimately I\u0027d like to create a \u0027unit/\u0027 directory parallel to \u0027functional\u0027 that has these new, fast unit-tests in them.
