So an author would never use this to say \"link to the pike version of this document\" (they can just use a URL for that). They would only ever use it to say \"link to the *same* version of this document\".\n\nBecause the series is not the first component of the path, and we can only pass one argument to be substituted for the %s, it\u0027s harder to have a general role that means \"link to some other project\u0027s docs\" without building the project name into the URL associated with the role. At least, it\u0027s harder without writing more code to handle the role ourselves, instead of taking advantage of existing extensions.","commit_id":"3497a7c14c369d81afb6cf3c6a99d3006359d776"}]}
