The \"pillars\" part will likely require a bit more thought (I assume that\u0027s why it was left to later?) and that\u0027s probably a good thing. Part of the reason for the creation of the vision document was to try to tease out the ways in which the OpenStack services had fallen short of providing a platform on which people run \"cloudy\" applications, in particular already deployed applications being able to easily interact with and react to those services to maintain their own lifecycle. One of the big ways in which we\u0027ve failed is in allowing applications (things users deploy) to cleanly be authentic and authorized to do stuff in/with the cloud. There\u0027s been some progress on this in recent years.\n\nThere\u0027s also a thing, the details of which are unclear to me, with what nova failed to enable for trove. support (the stuff Lance has been trying to do with scope types and such in nova for awhile
