I want to add a couple of notes here:\n\n- we always fix bugs on master branch first (i see that the patch exists on master branch, thanks for that!)\n- the best is to have a bug report for any bug that you want to fix (please create it on https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/ if it does not exist there yet)\n- if a patch implements a bug fix, then the commit message can reference to the bug with \u0027Closes-bug: #\u003cbug-number\u003e\u0027 line\n- stable policy requires the bug fix to be backported branch by branch, hence this fix has to merge first on master branch, then on stable/2025.1, then on stable/2024.2, and after that you can cherry pick from there with \u0027git cherry pick -x\u0027 to here, stable/2024.1\n\nlet me know if you have any question regarding the process.","commit_id":"ea01af259621b89dd9ca2c705ef524e07fb84628"}]}
