Note that in OpenStack, we have a so called stable policy [1], that requires to fix a bug on master branch first (or the newest branch where the bug still exists) and then backport it branch by branch (so in this case, currently: master -\u003e stable/2026.1 -\u003e stable/2025.2 -\u003e stable/2025.1). I see that you have posted this same patch to master branch [2], so that is correct. When backporting, please always use `git cherry-pick -x \u003chash\u003e` from branch-by-branch.
