It is my understanding that the Neutron LBaaS API will be the ONLY customer facing API for Octavia. Thus, Octavia needs to have the ability to support multiple versions of the Neutron LBaaS API and host them simultaneously so that customers can move to newer versions within a specified time frame. For example, suppose API v 1.0 is currently in our production environments. When we want to upgrade to API v2.0 we should not disable API v1.0. Rather, we should keep API v 1.0 for a specific number of cycles or a fixed amount of time. If we don\u0027t do this, customers will be frantically updating their code to match the v2.0 API as it may have deprecated features or even removed features (assuming an item was deprecated in v1.0).","commit_id":"7a3f9470815c279b23a2cd46fa683fb14e7bda7a"}]}
