For one, local will use the venv python rather than the system python.\n\nIn general I use connection: local only for tasks that are intended to influence the deployment\u0027s ansible installation (ie. modifying the venv somehow, doing local operations related to the ansible deployment that will be done locally even in production, etc.)\n\nThis also won\u0027t work on container jobs since it
