I think the wording in the first sentence is vague on purpose. But, the named version in the second sentence should be more clear about how you find out which version of cloud-init is shipped with each version of an OS. For example, here\u0027s a page that lists the versions of cloud-init shipped with a version of Ubuntu: http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords\u003dcloud-init. And the page you point to on IBM\u0027s instructions also lists 0.7.4 as a supported version. \n\nPerhaps instead of maintaining a version number here, how about creating a table with how to find the information of which cloud-init version is mapped to each operating system image?
