In our world today, all web data is tracked somewhere, somehow - the motivation of this particular tracking is to benefit a community that maintains documentation and a non profit foundation's efforts in sustaining that community.

One use case I'd like to identify is how much of the traffic is due to LLM crawlers, and what (more) can we do to protect against any unauthorized/unfair access. Maybe this can help here, I don't know.

I'm not opposed to ripping all this out if that's the community's will - but, as pointed out during the TC's meeting [1], some parts of the community's infrastructure aren't driven with configuration management via Gerrit, and are not open for this kind of scrutiny and review; so perhaps we could make a collective overarching decision towards this rather than just prevent tracking through this Manuals project.

[1] https://meetings.opendev.org/meetings/tc/2025/tc.2025-11-25-17.00.log.html#l-78
So I would suggest that we bring this up as an item during a TC meeting or propose a resolution to do so?

Otherwise this change is inline with the existing behavior and just doing the update as requested.
7e8130ea64743596d772d673a79c14a509ceb584"}]}
