It\u0027s also better for tracking progress when there are multiple patches required to get things working under a new version - reviewers can see the number of failures going down. And the cost is limited, because the job only runs from (in this example) the end of the Rocky cycle until the project switches over to the python3-stein-jobs template.\n\nOn the other hand, as you say, most of this could be achieved (albeit with slightly less visibility) by just submitting a patch to switch the jobs over (something I imagine the goal champions would do automatically anyway) and then rebasing it as needed.\n\nI still like the idea, but dropping it wouldn\u0027t be a dealbreaker for me.","commit_id":"8724716a3bce08580bea5e662b2b02d1c15eb6f0"},{"author":{"_account_id":6547,"name":"Andreas Jaeger","email":"jaegerandi@gmail.com","username":"jaegerandi"},"change_message_id":"10326e7484f83f3e87e6bd044142d86df86cbc44","unresolved":false,"context_lines":[{"line_number":458,"context_line":"        - openstack-tox-py37"},{"line_number":459,"context_line":"    periodic:"},{"line_number":460,"context_line":"      jobs:"},{"line_number":461,"context_line":"        - openstack-tox-py36"},{"line_number":462,"context_line":""},{"line_number":463,"context_line":"- project-template:"},{"line_number":464,"context_line":"    name: openstack-python35-jobs"}],"source_content_type":"text/x-yaml","patch_set":1,"id":"3f79a3b5_46c03b7e","line":461,"updated":"2018-10-19 20:41:30.000000000","message":"let\u0027s do Clark\u0027s and my proposal as well - with a single \"openstack-python3-jobs\" that has different branch conditions.","commit_id":"8724716a3bce08580bea5e662b2b02d1c15eb6f0"}]}
