One concern that occurs to me is based on the old debian and rpm packaging for openstack within OpenDev. Essentially they forked all of the openstack git repos sprinkling a small amount of packaging over the top. This doubled (tripled?) our disk consumption basically overnight and now that those efforts are dead we have to carry the consequences basically forever into the future.\n\nI\u0027m not sure if rdo packaging works that way but it would be good to understand if it does so that we can be aware of this upfront.
