turns off the\nhost-specific initramfs generation with dracut:\n\n$ cat /usr/lib/dracut/dracut.conf.d/02-generic-image.conf\nhostonly\u003d\"no\"\n\nThe result is that the generated initrams does not contain:\n\n- /etc/systemd/journald.conf\n- /etc/systemd/system.conf\n- /etc/hostname\n- /etc/machine-id\n- /etc/vconsole.conf\n- /etc/locale.conf\n- /etc/modules-load.d/*.conf\n- /etc/sysctl.d/*.conf\n- /etc/sysctl.conf\n\nEspecially problematic is the absence of sysctl.conf when ipv6 is\ndisabled via \"KernelDisableIPv6: 1\" because we end up half-disabling\nipv6 and services
