The concept of X-Auth-Token should really only be relevant to identity plugins. \n\nHowever because it\u0027s there people expect get_token to work and there are places where it is used to trigger auth. \n\nWhat i want people to do as much as possible is use get_headers instead, but implement get_token such that it does provoke an auth and returns the x-auth-token value if one exists.\n\nThis is the only way i can see to implement that and keep backwards
