It means that it can be turned off.\nSince V2.1 all extensions are included in main API, so we need to check api_version. Or if we decide to make a major change - enable extensions for all api versions(it is reasonable since we already done it in CLI layer), we need proper release notes. Never mind which way will you choose, it should be done unified for all extensions(all modules from novaclient.v2.contrib).\n\nI had a more general patch for all extensions (https://review.openstack.org/#/c/280726/), but I could not find time to finish it:( If you are interested, you can take it or I can try to find a bit of time this or next week.\n\nAs a workaround, you can modify one line in openstackclient to enable it:\n\n    if ext.name in (\"list_extensions\", \"instance_action\")\n\n    https://github.com/openstack/python-openstackclient/blob/master/openstackclient/compute/client.py#L64","commit_id":"9451e638fce8356b71ec34947a02504043f17435"}]}
