I opened a ticket [here](https://github.com/sphinx-doc/sphinx/issues/12843). We use `noindex` rather extensively but I think this only affects the `module` directive as opposed to the `automodule` directive so hopefully we\u0027ll be okay 🤞\n\nCan you reference the bug in the commit message?
