This kind of patch shouldn\u0027t been backported to stable branches.\n\nVictoria already bumped the major version.\n\nFor now this version (this patch) could be canceled, and we could wait for more significant changes, however, the problem is that at a moment we will have to release fixes and these changes will reappear.","commit_id":"c6eea0885fbc607e3d10977c561bfe594b4b963e"},{"author":{"_account_id":17685,"name":"Elod Illes","email":"elod.illes@est.tech","username":"elod.illes"},"change_message_id":"04999b504fc8f005b9be703ab10e9249bba3453f","unresolved":true,"context_lines":[{"line_number":24,"context_line":"22c4d9b Zuul: port to native v3 job"},{"line_number":25,"context_line":"2f98774 Update TOX/UPPER_CONSTRAINTS_FILE for stable/ussuri"},{"line_number":26,"context_line":"3a306b3 Update .gitreview for stable/ussuri"},{"line_number":27,"context_line":"25c584c [ussuri][goal] Drop python 2.7 support and testing"},{"line_number":28,"context_line":"a7e615c Fix gate job failures and py3 compatibility"},{"line_number":29,"context_line":""},{"line_number":30,"context_line":"Signed-off-by: Elod Illes \u003celod.illes@est.tech\u003e"}],"source_content_type":"text/x-gerrit-commit-message","patch_set":1,"id":"4b88a2ea_4e18fb14","line":27,"range":{"start_line":27,"start_character":0,"end_line":27,"end_character":58},"in_reply_to":"bbe90b07_0b3a4838","updated":"2021-08-30 09:58:47.000000000","message":"Well, officially Ussuri does not support py27 anymore, though yes, this should have landed earlier (and get released earlier if this was needed). Anyway, if we consider that stable/ussuri will transition to Extended Maintenance and there is no open patches against stable/ussuri we can safely expect that there won\u0027t be any need for a release until the transition. So I\u0027ll abandon this release patch (so 4.10.0 release will be tagged as EM, which is I think fine).","commit_id":"c6eea0885fbc607e3d10977c561bfe594b4b963e"}]}
