The fix[1] breaks backward compatibility so we want to get it into RC1. Initially there was a discussion with tempest team to agree to the changes on tempest side which took some time and now gates have been breaking multiple times making it harder to get the change in.\nIf possible, I would like to request to cut RC1 on monday for cinder.
