I did some research and found [1], which says that HAProxy can handle:\n\n\"about 5000 concurrent end-to-end TLS connections (both sides) per GB of\n RAM including the memory required for system buffers\"\n \nI would assume that with an amp with 4 vCPUs one would aim for 20k concurrent connections at least, so setting 4 GB of RAM here seem sensible to me.
