Now it supports both modes, defaulting for embedded file.\n\nI had only one case where a custom Dockerfile was needed so far.\n\nAlso I should mention that molecule CI is testing the embedded code with a wide range of platforms, including all those we work with. On the other hand I am rewriting it for centos-8 now.\n\nFrom another (personal) point of view, a docker image does not boot, there is no kernel and testing in CI is not like running or shipping something to production.
