We\u0027ve slightly fuzzed that with the proposed evacuation tests, but they\u0027re still actually stopping the compute services, which you can\u0027t do through the APIs. Force down isn\u0027t quite enough, and could cause issues.\n\nWith that in mind, Tempest does have the @serial decorator now, to ensure test classes run all their tests serially with no possible conflicts with other tests.\n\nThe max compute nodes can be hacked around by just listing all the compute services in the deployment, and disabling anything that isn\u0027t the host with the server we care about.\n\nAll of that to say - I feel like this should live in Tempest proper.
